Immaculate condition, blown and hand-shaped and hand-polished faceted art deco Moser glass bowl - plate based in the designs of Josef Hoffmann. Art glass bowl made of thick-walled amber coloured glass. It is made of faceted glass standing on an round base. The small - sized,spherical shaped bottom is complemented by a contrastingly wide upper part with a curved rim. Its side is decorated with smooth, polished divided sides, which are based on the use of geometric shapes. Special, rare color and shape, exceptional quality from a private collection. The glass vase from the 1920s displaying the style of the time and the unique characteristics of Moser etching. In the 1920s, the Moser glass factory began an extremely fruitful collaboration with the designer Josef Hoffmann (Pirnitz 1870–1956 Vienna, co-founder of the Wiener Werkstatte), during which elegant glassware bearing the hallmarks of the prevailing art deco aesthetics was produced, emphasizing straight, simplified lines and modern form, and the use of strong, clear colors. All this in perfect execution and condition. Dimensions : height: 7 cm, width: 19 cm, weight : 758 gramm.
