The Tupini pattern (TCA), also known as Cornucopia is among the most prestigious designs produced by the renowned Hungarian manufacturer Herend. Created in 1870, this exquisite pattern was soon named after the Tupini family, a wealthy Italian merchant family who was among the first to acquire the set. Its intricate oriental motifs and elegant gilded details captivated the Shah of Persia, who ordered a complete set in the early 1900s. The Tupini design won the gold medal at the 1901 World Fair in St. Petersburg and is only painted by Master painters.
