Very good strong lock, large eyelet for all kind of chains. Collectable piece of antique jewellery. The locket is a 18kt/750 yellow gold 'back and front' locket which means the front and back of the locket are 18ct gold while the inside is brass. Brass was used at this time for strength, lockets are opened and closed which can weaken the closure, brass solved this problem at the time.
