Very rare Audemars Frères Genève 18K GOLD Minute Repeater Chronograph Hunter Case Pocket Watch from ca. 1900:
This massive pocket watch with diameter of 57 mm is in a very good condition considering its age.
Movement: minute repetition movement, patent 13244, movement protected by additional crystal
When a slide lever is pressed on the watch-case, the timepiece rings out the time through a series of chimes. A minute repeater strikes out the hours, quarters and minutes on request while a quarter repeater strikes only for hours and quarters. Today, minute repeaters are one of the most complex watch mechanisms and are highly coveted by watch enthusiasts for their masterful engineering and beautiful acoustics

Dial: white, enamel, black Arabic numerals
Hands: gold-plated, central second blued steel
Special features: chronograph, minute repeater
Crystal: Acrylic
White dial with black Arabic numerals is in original condition. There are no scratches on it.
Case of the watch is made of 18K solid gold. It has no major traces of use. Gold hallmarks are visible on each inner side of the case. The watch case is signed with Audemars Frères.
SWISS movement is in very good working order. It keeps accurate time well. All functions work properly.
