Gala uniform Royal Air Force - 1950-1960
The item up for auction is a 1953 British RAF NCO's gala uniform including shirt with epaulettes. Certificate of authenticity is the sewn-in tag on the back. Original. Size L 44. Jacket in blue grey with patches on both sleeves. There are tiny holes on both jacket and trousers - see photos! This is the original uniform worn by an RAF NCO from the communications units.
Blue shirt with epaulettes and charge markings also used.
Everything is cleaned with no unpleasant odours.
The item has been my property for many years.
