Kanosuke - Double Distilleries - 700 ml

The new blended expression bottled in Hioki, Kagoshima, the Kanosuke Whisky Double Distillery, will showcase both Kanosuke Distillery and Hioki Distillery whiskies, demonstrating how well the two distilleries accentuate and complement each other’s distinctive characteristics.

Bottled at 53% ABV, the combination of Hioki pot still whisky and Kanosuke single malt is aged together at Kanosuke Distillery utilizing Virgin American White Oak casks, Sherry casks, Bourbon barrels, and Re-charred Ex-Mellowed Kozuru Shochu casks.

An expressively floral scent of summer melon, sweet vanilla, mint, apricot, peach, and lemon grass permeates this tortoiseshell color. The taste is complex and full of rich sweetness, with undertones of bittersweet flavor that include orange peel, black tea, cloves, and raspberries. Ending with a rich, fruity scent, a little oaky flavor, and a mildly bitter aftertaste.
