David Seymour - Magnum Photos - Light over Rome

David Seymour - MAGNUM PHOTOS LIGHT OVER ROME: Pope John XII labors late in his Vatican study above the Bernini Colonnade to complete plans for the forthcoming Ecumenical Council, due to open October 11th. In St. Peter's Basilica, workmen are completing grandstand seats to accomodate more than 3000 members of the Roman Catholic ecclesiastical hierarchy. They will discuss the Catholic vision of 900 million Christians working together for peace. Protestant observers will also attend. Credit: David Seymour (c) 1962 MAGNUM Photos This is an original silver salt photographic print made by the photographer himself or by the agency that represents him. Normally called "agency copies", this type of photography is made from the original negative or from a copy of a negative.
