Khalid Margani - Waiting Room | Together for Sudan

Together for Sudan is a fundraising campaign supported by Friends of Sudan to help artists and other Sudanese people during the ongoing war, which started in 2023 and is already the largest displacement crisis in the world.

This drawing was made in 2024 by a Sudanese artist, Khalid Margani. This is its description of the drawing:

"Many Hospitals during the war are not active, except one or two and they are overcrowded by peaceful bodies and pale faces that they recall all their memories and hoping to share them with someone."

The original drawing is made on paper with the dimensions of 35x25 cm. The drawing was taped to a more solid cardboard which is removable, as shown in the pictures. The total dimensions considering the cardboard are 41x29cm.
