The depth of the shade means that the pendant does not dazzle - no matter how high it is placed. Caravaggio is also open at the top, which ensures an upwardly directed light that illuminates both the suspension and the cord. The designer Cecilie Manz launched together with Fritz Hansen the very first two Caravaggio pendants as part of the company's first collection, which was shown at the Copenhagen Furniture Fair in May 2005.
