This is a very stylish and magnificent Bed spread cover. It has hardly ever seen the daylight and has only recently left the marriage armoire where it has been for decennia. It is thé very classical rose design which is hexagonally framed with 6 pompons triangles. This design has never been varied and has always stayed the same. The borders are done in lattice design and scalloped. The Bed cover is knitted and not crochet. We have also draped the cover over the dining room table to get the full effect. With careful planning the cover can also be used as a "fun" dining room setting by putting the plates in between the rose design, or alternatively as a throw over a cane sofa or even on a table as decorative cover as the 4 ends are rounded.
