Rare and amazing bisque porcelain sculpture depicting an unusual cherub, sitting on an elegant dust blue cushion with golden legs and profiles. Sculpture by Giorgio Benacchio for Triade Capodimonte, carved signature mark both on the bottom and on the side of the pillow (see photo). The sculpture comes with certificate of authenticity and expertise. Beautiful indeed and always kept in a display cabinet. The cherub figure only is slightly yellowed in some spots, compatibly with its age (it has never been cleaned). No shortcomings or restorations. Mid-20th century.
