Deze set bestaat uit 6 "Grand Prix stoelen (Models 3130)" ontworpen door Arne Jacobsen voor Fritz Hansen (zie merk onderaan). 

De set is in goede vintage staat met enkele gebruikssporen. De 6 stoelen hebben een patina en kleur. 

Let op:
Aan de onderzijde zitten (oude) sporen van houtworm. Dit was al het geval toen verkoper de stoelen 20 jaar geleden kocht en is volgens verkoper hetzelfde gebleven. De rug en benen zijn in perfecte staat (geen barsten).

De stoel in o.a. gepubliceerd in de boeken: Tashen 1000 stoelen & Scandinavian Design (zie foto's).
De Vitra collectie heeft ook enkele van 'deze' stoelen in bezit (zie foto's).


Dit specifieke model werd in 1957 geïntroduceerd door Fritz Hansen op de Designers voorjaarstentoonstelling "Art & Design" in Kopenhagen. Later datzelfde jaar werd de stoel bekroond met de "Grand Prix" op de Triennale in Milaan, vandaar de naam.
