Racing 92 Rugby Memorabilia Available Exclusively on Catawiki

Paris, November 16, 2023 - The Rugby World Cup, which ended on October 28, provided French rugby fans with two months of intense action on home soil. To build on the tournament’s excitement, Top 14 club Racing 92 are making exclusive team memorabilia available on Catawiki as part of a two year partnership.

A series of auctions will give Racing 92 fans a chance to own a piece of the iconic teams’ history on Catawiki, the leading online auction marketplace for special objects. From the first, starting 16 November, fans can bid on items which include the 23 jerseys worn and signed by the players following their victory over Lyon OU Rugby on 4 November at the Paris La Défense Arena for the 5th day of the TOP 14 and a 10 person visit to the training centre and team meet and greet. Other auctions will follow with exclusive team signed items from the club’s archives and VIP experiences.

The Top 14 club, made up of international players such as Gael FICKOU, Cameron WOKI, Juan IMHOFF recently welcomed Stuart Lancaster as head coach, he commented, "Racing 92's heritage and history are very strong. Our intention is to continue to build a winning team competing nationally in the Top 14 and the European Champions Cup to enrich the trophies of the Racing 92 club and therefore grow our exciting inventory of memorabilia.”

This news follows the international success of the Rugby World Cup, the best attended in competition history. Across the tournament, more than four million fans attended games and there was a total global broadcast audience of over 800 million. The auction also comes ahead of South African captain Siya Kolisi’s first game for Racing 92, and the team look forward to auctioning his debut kit at a later date.
