AS Monaco unique memorabilia and experiences exclusively available on Catawiki

AS Monaco fans will get unrivalled access to the team’s memorabilia and experiences on leading online auction marketplace Catawiki

First auction, live from today until 5 March, will feature match worn signed jerseys from the recent victory against Paris Saint Germain, a football and training gear signed by the team, plus an unprecedented access to player training centre and more, with part of the proceeds going to charity

Partnership follows the increasing popularity of sports memorabilia, which recorded double-digit growth on Catawiki last year

AS Monaco, top winning football club currently ranking third in the French league, together with Catawiki, the leading online marketplace for special objects, announces today a partnership offering fans the opportunity to own unique objects worn and signed by the team and live experiences from the season’s most memorable matches. The first auction will run on Catawiki from 22 February to 5 March.

The stunning 3:1 win against Paris Saint Germain in the recent French league match will be the focus of the first AS Monaco auction on Catawiki. Fans can own a piece of the action with unique items such as jerseys worn and signed by the eleven starting players - from midfielder Aleksandr Golovin and captain Ben Yedder who scored the three winning goals, to other football players on the pitch. A team signed match ball and team signed training gear - such as shorts, training pants, tops, and shirts - paired with both regular and VIP tickets for upcoming league matches, will also be auctioned. Special attention will be on a bundle consisting of an unprecedented VIP experience to access the brand new AS Monaco Performance Center, combined with a team signed jersey and a replica PSG jersey signed by several players of the Parisian club, including Kylian Mbappé and Juan Bernat, whose proceeds will be donated to the childhood cancer fighting organisation Fondation Flavien, supported by both clubs on the occasion of their game. Following on, the partnership will entail further auctions linked to the most pivotal matches of the top winning French team, in the current and next seasons.

AS Monaco memorabilia from the recent match against Paris Saint Germain are on auction on Catawiki until 5 March.

‘’We are delighted to welcome Catawiki to the family of AS Monaco's partners. Thanks to this collaboration, we will give all our supporters the opportunity to treat themselves to unique collector's items and exclusive products related to the Club! This new partnership demonstrates our growing attractiveness for the most innovative companies in their fields.’’ said AS Monaco Sponsorship Director Adrien Zannettacci

Genevieve Tearle, Vice President Collectables at Catawiki, comments ‘’We're thrilled to be working with one of the most prestigious clubs of the French championship, and be able to offer our audience the unseen opportunity to access AS Monaco autographed memorabilia and experiences, which were never auctioned before. This partnership has a strategic importance for Catawiki as it responds to the growing demand for sports memorabilia that we have seen on our platform in recent years; last year alone, the category increased by over twenty five percent globally’’.

In addition to this initiative, as per tradition, the Monegasque players will continue to exchange or offer their jerseys to their supporters at the end of the matches.

The partnership builds on Catawiki's previous successful collaborations with major international sports players, including global winning racing club Team Jumbo Visma, with whom unique bicycles used in the 2022 Tour de France were put up for auction last year, and Dutch cyclist Amy Pieters, for a charity auction totalling over €30,000 to support medical treatments after her serious injury in 2021. Catawiki also partnered with the world's fastest marathon runner Eliud Kipchoge for a collection dedicated to his passion for sport last year.
