Description
This work is part of the “Holy Life” series, where animal figures operate as symbolic projections of human roles within constructed hierarchies. The title “Royal” functions as a critical marker, pointing to authority as an assigned and unstable condition.
The feline figure introduces a self-contained and controlled presence. The frontal composition reinforces distance and autonomy, while the ornamental surface acts as a structural layer rather than decoration. The work reflects a state of observation and withdrawal, where identity is maintained through separation and internal balance.
Series
“Holy Life” examines identity as a constructed system. Crowned figures emerge as archetypal forms within an implicit hierarchy, reflecting how roles are imposed, internalised and performed. The series maintains a controlled visual language in which symbolic clarity coexists with psychological tension.
