How is it possible that a car with valid inspection, does not get the approval abroad?

In some instances a car will be listed on our platform, and a buyer may look into registering it into their country, only to find out that it cannot be done. Unfortunately this is due to how certain countries handle their inspection regulations for vehicles.

In the EU, and across the world, there are no standardised rulesets that govern how inspections can be carried out. It can even be that different companies differ slightly on this. For example a car may get greenlit from a Dutch authority, permitting the car to be road legal in the Netherlands. That same grading may mean that it's not legal in Spain.

As this is a fairly expansive subject to discuss in an article, we would encourage that you contact your local authority on the subject for a more detailed and comprehensive overview.
